Platform & Manufacture•  

 e VITARA is built on a brand-new electric-vehicle–only platform called HEARTECT-e — developed specially for BEVs. 
•    It is manufactured in India at the Gujarat plant of Maruti Suzuki (Suzuki Motor Gujarat). The vehicle is positioned as a “Made-in-India, Made-for-the-World” BEV, intended for both Indian and global markets. 

Battery & Power-train / EV Technology
•    The EV uses a “High Capacity Battery” comprised of 120 lithium-ion based cells. 
•    The battery and powertrain are engineered to work in a wide range of climate conditions: from –30 °C to +60 °C. 
•    The underlying EV architecture combines the battery, electric motor and supporting EV hardware (for example, the “eAxle” + battery + HEARTECT-e platform) — not a conversion of an ICE vehicle. 

Safety & Build Quality
•    The body/chassis uses high-tensile / ultra-high-tensile steel to ensure structural strength and rigidity. 
•    The high-voltage battery pack is packaged with dedicated safety provisions — the design ensures structural protection and energy-absorbing battery-mounting structure. 
•    The vehicle underwent and passed with a 5-star rating under Bharat NCAP (for occupant protection, adult + child) in its safety certification — as per the manufacturer’s official press release. 
•    Safety features include 7 airbags (including driver-knee airbag) as standard across all variants. 
•    Advanced driver-assist / EV-specific features: the car is advertised with Level-2 ADAS, which is part of the “next-gen” tech suite for e VITARA
